Last year it was The Hangover that ND parodied to reveal its alternate uniforms. That reveal for last season’s Shamrock Series featured Marcus Freeman, Michael Mayer, Mike Golic and company meeting up in the Las Vegas desert. This year’s vehicle is the 1996 Tom Cruise blockbuster Jerry Maguire that provides the inspiration.
The two and a half minute clip reveals the uniforms that the Irish will wear for the September 23 game against Ohio State in Notre Dame Stadium. It features Freeman, Audric Estime, Sam Hartman and a few cameos, including Ron Powlus. (Look closely at what is on the wall near Powlus during his brief appearance!)
