Notre Dame announced today that the 2023 edition of the Blue-Gold Game will be on Saturday, April 22, in Notre Dame Stadium.
The Blue-Gold Game will stream exclusively on Peacock and will be available on-demand, following the live stream, on Fighting Irish TV.
Tickets to the game will go on sale Tuesday, January 24 at 10 a.m. ET. They are available at UND.com/BuyTickets or by calling 833-NDIRISH
Game time, additional ticket information and other Blue-Gold weekend details will be released at a later date.
The annual Spring game has been played under various formats since 1929. It went on a one year hiatus in 2020 due to the pandemic. In last year’s game, freshman Steve Angeli scored the winning points on a 10 yard scramble as time expired. Angeli also was 11-18 for 180 yards passing with one TD on the day. The 2022 final, in a game dominated by the defenses was Gold 13 Blue 10.
Among other storylines, the 2023 should mark the ND public debut of Wake forest transfer QB Sam Hartman.
