Notre Dame has released its 2025 home football schedule start times today. The slate will be highlighted by three primetime contests. These matchups include games against Texas A&M, USC, and Navy, each scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET and broadcast nationally on NBC.
In total, Notre Dame will host seven games during the 2025 season. Six of these will be televised on NBC and on Peacock, while the October 11 contest against NC State will be available exclusively on Peacock. 2025 Home Game Schedule Overview
September 13 – vs. Texas A&M (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC)
The home opener features a highly anticipated matchup against Texas A&M. This game represents the second leg of a home-and-home series that began in 2024, when Notre Dame secured a 23–14 victory in College Station. Texas A&M concluded the 2024 season with an 8–5 record, including a loss to USC in the Las Vegas Bowl .
September 20 – vs. Purdue (3:30 p.m. ET, NBC)
Notre Dame continues its series against Purdue, with whom it competes for the Shillelagh Trophy. In 2024, the Fighting Irish defeated the Boilermakers 66–7. That game was played the week after ND’s loss to Northern Illinois, and kicked off a 13 game win streak. Purdue finished the 2024 season with a 1–11 record, marking their worst performance since 2013 .
October 4 – vs. Boise State (3:30 p.m. ET, NBC)
Notre Dame will welcome Boise State to South Bend for a first ever meeting between the two programs. Boise State concluded the 2024 season with a 12–2 record and a College Football Playoff quarterfinal appearance. The Broncos lost their playoff game to Penn State last season, 31-14.
October 11 – vs. NC State (3:30 p.m. ET, Peacock Exclusive)
This game will be Notre Dame’s fifth contest ever to be broadcast exclusively on Peacock. The Irish are currently undefeated (4–0) in “Peacock” only games. NC State finished the 2024 season with a 6–7 record, including a loss to East Carolina in the Military Bowl .
October 18 – vs. USC (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC)
One of college football’s premier rivalries continues as Notre Dame hosts USC for the 96th meeting in the Jeweled Shillelagh series. The Irish have won seven of the last nine matchups against the Trojans. USC concluded the 2024 season with an 8–5 record, including a dramatic comeback victory over Texas A&M in the Las Vegas Bowl .
November 8 – vs. Navy (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC)
Notre Dame and Navy will meet under the lights for the first time at Notre Dame Stadium in a renewal of one of the sport’s longest-standing rivalries. Navy finished the 2024 season with a 10–3 record, including a victory over Oklahoma in the Armed Forces Bowl. The Irish knocked off Navy last year 51-14.
November 22 – vs. Syracuse (3:30 p.m. ET, NBC)
Notre Dame will conclude its 2025 home schedule on Senior Day with a matchup against Syracuse. The Orange finished the 2024 season with a 10–3 record, including a victory over Washington State in the Holiday Bowl . The Irish and Orangemen last matched up at Syracuse in 2022 in a game the Irish won 41-24.
The Irish will open the 2025 season at Miami on Sunday August 31 with a 7:30 PM ET kickoff. That game will be televised on ABC.
